I’m impressed with your research! I’ve always wondered why the delightfully scented candles I bought at Pier One, didn’t give off much fragrance when I burned them at home.

I’ve done quite a bit of batik designing using beeswax as a resist to the fabric dye, but never knew about soy wax or palm wax. Do you have any info on which wax holds up best as a resist for Procian fabric dyes?

If not, no worries. I am a candle lover from way back (spent my college years at UC Berkely (as a Flower Child - LOL).

Good stuff! I’m looking forward to your next chapter on candles.

All right then, I’ve gone through those steps, now may I have a critique please? I’m fairly new to etsy (joined in June) but I’ve read many of the Storque articles and forums and have attended several virtual labs. I’ve had two banners and one avatar, written and re-written my editorial portions, used all the available photo space (as much as possible). My only sales have been to people I know and I’d love to have etsy sales from the general public.

I didn’t mention prescription medications in my post, but I have tried countless prescriptions for migraine prevention over the past 15 years with no success. Honestly, I don’t think I could list everything I’ve tried. I’m currently uninsured, so the over-the-counter supplements approach makes sense for me right now.

I will be insured again soon, and at that time I will seek out a new doctor (or doctors) who are knowledgeable about migraines.
